what is the root directory, if its C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition, then I do not have a data folder.

@master1man Have you installed the Halo Editing Kit (HEK)? If you haven't then I don't think those folders will be there.

@llamajuice I have installed HEK but i dont know where. I going to remove HEK and reinstall it, were should I install it at?

@master1man It should install to the root of Halo Custom Edition.
Do you see sapien, tool, or guerrilla in the HCE root? If not, then you haven't installed the HEK, or there was some horrible problem during the installation.
Or... are you running Vista? If you're running Windows Vista it could have weird problems because you're in the program files folder if you have the UAC enabled, try disabling your UAC (google it) and reinstall the HEK.

alright well installed hek and once its installed i cant figure out out you open it. im serious i can only find gorilla and sapien... any ideas?

@xboxmaniac77 Guerrilla and Sapien ARE the HEK. hek is the Halo Editing Kit, the kit consists of Guerrilla, Sapien, and Tool. Three separate programs. You won't actually open any program called HEK or anything like that.
