own. Sorry for the rant, I'm a preservation type of guy. I'd much rather have clean usable classic car with a good strong engine, good body, and frame. Something that if I wanted to I could take in the twisty backroads, and gently thrash, but not abuse.

Haaaa, Sigh, the scrapyard gets another car and engine. This stuff should be outlawed really. Why would you wanna put money in to project like that, only to have it be completely for nought. When will these people realize that no one gives a shit how high your car can rev, or what kind of power or speed your putting out. Just enjoy it without abusing it. First off the rotary can't even rev that high. Redline is 9K moron and 8K for the turbo version.
You can see a piston engine rev to 18K moron and not blow up. There are quite a few vids here on youtube.

hahaha rotary not rev 12k well i must be seeing things on my dash you fruitbowl, and thats non turbo quite standard. standard pistons dont have a chance......oh and u know that line dat is red on ur speedo. u can go past it. u dont have to stop there pussy

Most rotary guys have delusions of their engines as I have seen. If you are truly revving it that high, it will only fall apart sooner. Who gives a damn how high your POS revs. I can put down more h.p. and torque at half of your rev range. Oh, you didn't realize that did you idiot.
