The Glenlivet and Interview are proud to present interviews with men who are writing their own legacies and passing on something truly original in their fields. Joshua David and Robert Hammond are the co-founders of Friends of the Highline, the non-profit group responsible for The High Line park in New York City. The High Line was built in 1934 as an elevated rail line for freight trains that previously ran along the city's streets. The last train ran along the line in 1980, and plans were made to destroy the entire structure. Friends of the Highline successfully saved the structure and turned it into a remarkable public park, now one of New York City's premiere destinations for tourists and locals alike. This video was produced by Interview exclusively for The Glenlivet. Interview was founded by Andy Warhol in 1969. Today, interviewmagazine.com features intimate conversations between the biggest names in pop culture, from film, fashion, music and art.
