A. J. King (1881 - 1963) was the preeminent miniature bird carver of
his era, and his work is highly prized by collectors today. Mass
Audubon holds the most important collection of his work, including more
than 100 carvings, as well as works in a variety of other mediums:
watercolors, etchings, relief prints and extraordinarily detailed
jewelry designs.
