All this is about attention to detail he says.Does that include closing and locking that intermediate cab door on that CEP at 2:20 ish?! Still,happy days.The scenes of old Ashford take me back to my time on BR.

I used to be a driver at Reading southern and drove veps...cigs....epbs etc.etc and far more superior than the trains of today

The old slam door trains were so charming and nice on the outside, but filthy and uncomfortable on the inside. It was bittersweet to see them go in 2005.

Cheers for posting this. I grew up in Ashford during this period so the shots of the old station and trains are very nostalgic.
