i competed this year my first one too and made a number of mistakes which with out making those miskakes could had taken me all the way the a 4th round and i beat kinneas the day after on that pokemon online computer program so next time
1. just go straight into attacking ghost type pokemon with dark type moves as of corse crunch weakens ghost types with being a dark type move
2. use fighting type/ground type moves like earthquake/drain punch on rock type pokemon as there super effective :)

you made a major misplay turn 1 by not going for the crunch on chandelure. It was incredibly obvious that you were going for the Fake Out

Well, by default you did better than me. The only thing I had that was anywhere near competitive was Darmanitan, and choosing to use that cost me the game because I forgot what Flare Blitz did in the heat of the moment. That would've swept his entire team...
