  • what kind of ravens are those from 00:59 till 01:15?

  • @TheRasmus41

The thick-billed raven and the white-necked raven. Both are native to Africa :)

  • "Eat your heart out American Bald Eagle!"

  • Hmm? What is that supposed to mean? -_-

  • I meant that it was way cooler than any of the reagal eagle imagery that's so prevalent in this country. Personally, I think corvids are way cooler than any raptor so it's nice to see someone highlighting them for a change.

  • Ah yes, I agree with you. And thank you^^ And I am really sorry for misunderstanding you.

  • amazing video, great tribute to the ravens, they deserve it, they are great birds, i have so much respect for them

  • @rustymotor The song played is an instrumental version of the song "All About Us" by the Russian group Tatu. I'd have to say it's the first time I've heard it done without the lyrics.

  • Awesome video! Gorgeous, dynamic creatures... I never knew they were THIS beautiful; thank you!

  • If man kind ever discovers the secrets to creating a time machine to go back to the beginning of the world, likened to when we sent a monkey as the first in space may I suggest we send a raven or two first.

  • im obsessed with these feathery little creature, great video btw

  • quoth the raven 'NEVER MORE"

  • Thank you for such a great post, the images and music go together perfectly! I have been seeking the music with no success so far, can you please help me with the title or album? It must be an instrumental version I cant track down. Thanks again!

  • Which again, is unfortunate. As without these birds, and there smaller cousins, dead animal carcass's would litter the land completely. So for disease control, and ridding the sick and feable wildlife, there purpose is VERY much needed. And there "aerial skills" are phenominal, often rivaling Hawks & Eagles. At 27in and a wingspan, of around 4ft or slightly more, these birds command respect. However, persecution didn't help this species any. But thankfully, there finally making a steady comeback

  • This is a VERY nice "montage", on our largest songbird. I always had an "affinity", towards the Corvid species of birds. And since i've been in the field, for just about 25yrs now. I've spent a GREAT chunk of that time, stuyding these birds & there cousins. Who are the; Jays, Magpies, Crows, Rooks, & Jackdaws. They are HIGHLY misunderstood birds, and unfortunately there black coloring, gave them an "unfair" evil image. That many people out there, attribute these birds to.

  • I like ravens so well that i had one tattooed on my back and adopted the name.
