There were historical inaccuracies of course and the characters themselves a little bit exaggerated, but isn't it tempting to imagine that they really were like all the young people in the world? Passionate and always in love?

@p111f totally! I love shows that have a core of truth but are a little bit mad. Too many historical shows depict characters like they were always brooding or being creative when I bet they spent a lot of their time having fun :P

Oh my holy god that was amazing! You are so talented, I wasn't sure the song would fit but I soon saw it was the perfect choice. I love all the clips you used on the final section with all the 'say the word' moments and everything, and you captured the fun and silliness of the show mixed in with the confusion and heartache so so well. I can't believe how good this is! Be proud, 5 stars! :D

I found John Everett Millais' clumsiness and naivety the most amusing thing in the whole show. He was simply charming and disarming. But my favourite scene is when William Holman Hunt comes back from the Holy Land and Rossetti's words about Alli Baba!!! I have never laughed so much in my entire life (and I'm 30 this year:-))

I also like the scene when Millais shows the sketch of the future "Bubbles" to his friends. Of course historically impossible but still great fun!!!

Despite the historical inaccuracies and the slightly iffy portrayal of Gabriel in particular, this show was brilliant for the way the blokes interacted, and... oh who am I kidding, I just loved the slash! DR was PACKED with eye candy, it's only a plus when they cuddle and kiss constantly!
