Ant Atoll, in Micronesia, where I spent memorable weekends as a child is a canoe ride offshore of the verdant island of Pohnpei, where we lived in the late 1940's.
I remember the vast turquoise lagoon surrounded by the coral atoll with brilliant, full moon nights, on the beach sands in warm and balmy air.

  • This is awesome, I spent two months there and have tons of videos and pics but none from the top. That place changed my life and the life's of other's when I came back home. All I talk about is Micronesia. Stayed on Pohnpei and used to go to Ant all the time with friends and the surf club. I move there the first of the year and can not wait. I'll be sure to make lots of video's when I get there. Thanks for the memories.

  • ahhh nice song ,i love it :)

  • doesn't anybody have actual videos???

  • Ant is the most beautiful atoll in the world.

I recalled romantic memories of the summer thanks to this video. I want to visit Ant again someday and Pakin Atoll also. I did not go to Pakin though....

Thanks for posting the wonderful video.

  • Brings back many wonderful memories of family trips to Ant with the Adams, Boylans and Willis families and feasting on fresh yellowfin tuna with soy and wasabi on the beach.

  • Very nice, thanks for posting the video, brings back memories of my island.

  • Gorgeous pictures....beautiful beaches...oh so natural! I miss home! I've only been to Ant twice. Once on a school (senior) trip, and the other was with my uncles on a fishing trip. I only wish I had a camera back in the early 90s.....Very cool pictures

  • A beautiful video of a small piece of the world left pretty much alone and pure. Picnicking on Ant Atoll with the Varner and Eschite families is a fond memory of mine.
