@NYSP22DAVID I know a guy missing a finger or two from 20 years ago, but he blew up a large pipe bomb in his hands. Something like this probally would only be seriously dangerous if it was several times bigger, and had shapnel taped around it

@rensoedbt328 Hey, an actual c4 explosion happens in a thousanths of a second. You cant go flying through the air to avoid it like in the cheesy movies... But I still agree with you. This clearly wasn't c4 in an airport, it's just a lil firework in a parking lot.

Fact is, it is a federal crime to make a homemade bomb. There are federal laws against making or to posess a destructive device. And, it doesn't have to be a big one, either. many states have similar laws. The bomb doesn't have to be used to kill someone, either!

I made one of those one time back in the day, and my neighbor called the cops on me from the noise. When the cop came he put me in the back of the cop car and called the bomb squad. The bomb squad finally got there and pretty much told the cop that he was an idiot, and they were pissed that he made them drive all the way out to my house for nothing.

You know whats fucking ridiculous, when people get acid burns or get fingers blown off by these bombs. These things are dangerous and should not be taken lightly. People are starting to plant these things on people's yards and in their mailboxes so when the homeowner goes to pick it up, it blows up. These things aren't a joke.
