@riffranger Ugh. I've been in that situation too. :( I'm so sorry you're having problems with the meds. I hope the side effects don't last long. Hang in there. Figuring out the right meds is sometimes the hardest part but when you finally do get it figured out its so worth the trial and error. :) Good luck and I so hope you feel better soon. I'll say a little prayer for you.
I'm dealing with something similar now. Was misdiagnosed and treated for depression for over a year, and the meds really messed me up -- I developed an eating disorder and a bad cutting problem before my psychiatrist decided I might have bipolar II. Still working on getting a diagnosis, but talking about it a lot with different people (therapist, psychiatrist, close friends) is strangely therapeutic. Best of luck to you. :)

@SarahSullivanTV I'm so sorry I never saw this comment until today! Thank you so much for your comment. I'm sorry you are dealing with something similar. As of now, I'm pretty stable and doing well. I agree, talking about it especially to people who understand the illness is therapeutic. I hope you are doing well and by now the docs have worked out a diagnosis. p.s. I've seen your videos and I love them! You are so beautiful. :) Take care of yourself. You deserve the best!

I have seasonal manic episodes and while I don't crash to less activity and whatnot, my depression is agitated and angry and paranoid and is as wound as mania for me.
I grew up with this problem and hyperactivity and i can remember the early years as a kid and how to process this issue and it can be hard at first but in 20 years feeling an episode coming on is akin to the eye roll inconvenience of taking something when diarrhea and as it get's easy to manage with time...

@MrSpemat I'm so sorry to hear. Ugh that does not sound like fun. Its good to hear its easier now with experience. Although, that is a long time to live with something before figuring it out. That is what it so hard about mental illnesses. They are just so hard to figure out and manage. And sometimes it seems once you've got it under control you crash. grr. lol. but its good to hear there is hope. Thank you for sharing. :)
