@gcastellanos02 It's quite slow compared to most. It is also from late in Menuhin's career, and I think his accuracy/phrasing is quite lacking, particulary the opening phrases sound raspy and hesitant. Menuhin was never a "favorite" of mine, I can think of a lot of recordings-performances I think are superior to this.

My first contact with this song was by Heifetz, now im listening to this one and thinking its too slow. If Id come across Menuhins version first would I be thinking Heifetz was too fast? Probably.
