  • This is funny but not as funny as the one with the three vaguely neo-nazi looking pantomine villain looking trade unionists turning off a switch.

What? It's meant to be serious?

  • Hilarious. Someone at the advertising agency is obviously a fifth columnist. Love the shot of the sour old prune getting a share dividend- that's supposed to convince people that workchoices is a *good* thing?!

  • thanks for the laugh, this video is so funny, australia is ranked 3rd of the UN human development index not 8, how stupid and biased is this mob, they make the unions look like the worlds greatest intellects

  • 1.3 Workplace Agreements, not AWAs. AWAs account for a whopping 5% of all workplace agreements - that's a small minority of workers.

That also means that the economy has been doing fine with 95% of the workforce not on AWAs. This has nothing to do with the economy and everything to do with certain businesses wanting to force out collective agreements so that they don't have to pay as much in wages.

  • Actually I'm quite familiar with the system which is why I know that it's illegal. It's called "freedom of association". It the "union rorting and intimidation" was so "rife" before the ABCC why is the industry still almost completely unionised?

  • I know isn't that shot of the shop front with the evil music ridiculous? I like the quote ("it will be like unscrambling an egg") that hasn't been attributed to anyone or cited from anything. Comedy gold...

  • You obviously are not familiar with the system of closed shops in the building industry, and intimidation, which was rife before Howard set up the ABCC to fight against the union rorting and intimidation. Many employees and sub-contractors were forced out of work because of union intimidation just because they weren't unionised.

  • I have nothing against your opinion but if your dad has really been sacked for that reason he should claim unlawful termination. What that has to do with an add about the current Industrial Relations system is beyond me.

  • 1.3 million is not a small minority of workers.

  • "gone out of business because of union bosses" sheez stop playing up to the union boogie man
