  • This video, and the ideas within it, are bad. So your argument is that people voting is bad? Because a few of you have a confused understanding of history and policy, you get to declare a revolution against the millions and millions of people who vote and participate in democracy legally? Bah.

  • You're racist. Thats all.

  • @toyotabedzrock While researching for a one of my US Government classes, I came across information linking George H.W. Bush's father to the Nazi's. You can imagine my surprise. What I don't understand, however, is why sex scandals make the news, but Nazi affiliations don't? The Bush's get so much attention for being connected to "oil" but hardly a word is mentioned about their connections to the big pharmaceutical companies. I think all of this is important information. Thanks for the post.

  • Madison stated: Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security of the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths.

  • Between 1907 and 1963, when over 64,000 individuals were forcibly sterilized under eugenic legislation in the United States.

Regarding your statement about Democracy: Our Founding Fathers did everything in their power to keep Democracy out of the US government system. They were well aware of the problems that it brings. Franklin said, "Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what's for dinner." Other founders expounded with more detail.

  • The American eugenics movement received extensive funding from various corporate foundations including the Carnegie Institution, Rockefeller Foundation, and the Harriman railroad fortune. J.H. Kellogg provided funding to help found the Race Betterment Foundation in Battle Creek, Michigan. The Eugenics Records Office (ERO) was founded in New York in 1911 by the renowned biologist Charles Davenport, using money from both the Harriman railroad fortune and the Carnegie Institution.

  • @ShadowPa1adin Eugenics was forced on many people in the US in the 1900s. A quick Google search can give you some quick facts: In 1907 Indiana passed the first eugenics-based compulsory sterilization law in the world. Thirty U.S. states would soon follow their lead. Although the law was overturned by the Indiana Supreme Court in 1921, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of a Virginia law allowing for the compulsory sterilization of patients of state mental institutions in 1927.
