How to make a St.Patrick's Day Hat DoncellaRo Style.
What I used:
An Ice Cream Container
Spray Adhesive
Green Glitter
Black ribbon
Green paint
Hot Glue Gun
Scissors
Hair Clip
Round Container (for tracing out the brim of hat)
Paint Sponge
Silver Buckle
Step1
Cut ice cream container in half
Step2,
Use bottom half and paint it green, put aside to dry
Step3
Use round container bigger than hat to trace a brim for the hat, cut out and paint.
Step4
While brim is wet use a pen I used a white out pen because it has a sharp tip and trace he bottom of the hat on the middle of the brim.
Step5
Cut out a pie sliced shapes to fold and glue to inside of hat so brim gets attached.
Step6
Put glue on the small traced circle on brim and attach to the
bottom of hat also glue pie slices into the inside of hat you can also tape them or both.
Step7
Apply 2nd coat of paint and let dry
Step8
Spray the spray adhesive allover section top of hat and pour glitter on and shakeexcess off to a separate piece of paper to reuse. Spray a section at a time and pour the glitter as before and repeat until entire hat is covered in glitter.
Step9
Measure ribbon around hat and cut to fit, then hot glue on to hat.
Step10
add any embellishments desired, I added white feathers to the back to cover where the ribbon meets and a silver buckle with white rhinestones on the front to make it look more like a leprachauns hat (don't know if I spelled it right).
Step10
Glue a clip, comb or head band to the bottom so you can attach it to your hair.
Final Step
