Your slodering skills are amazing. I wish I could solder like that, but I guess with the right tools equipment & a bit of practise I could be nearly as good.

I'm ANSI certified for all forms of SMT and I absolutely hate 201's. 402's are hard enough, why must they make them smaller!

Guess we'll get them when either replacement chips get expensive (unlikely atleast for consumer stuff) or labor to do diagnosis gets cheap and plentiful. I've found some old books about troubleshooting appliances but in this age of complex tiny cheap throw away china made stuff it doesn't make much sense. If you love diagnosing what the real root of the problem is, better work at some software or ic design company I would think.

Was just tested for a tech position and I have to say, I paint fantasy miniatures...man, I thought THOSE were small. These people are willing to train and, having never done this before, I was shown "the basics" of it before I was let loose to try my hand at it. Sure wish I had watched this damn video before hand because the "basics" I was shown made it seem MUCH harder than this. I did ok, but a little messy. Watching this first sure would have helped :(
