i haven't really remembered Aaliyah like i used to, but as i remember for how much she has worked hard as a great singer, i want to listen to the songs that she has sung and have my mind go back and feel that great admiration for her and her music. That is the reason why i think she is rightfully the "Princess of R&B"

@stingstungme Well tbh, one of the reasons you'll notice her more is because she is fully clothed. :P I agree she was more subtle with her dressing than many artists today but they did intend her to make her the focus by doing that I think. Either way she was a queen.

@Xzorbo That's not true. I knew who she was and I liked her more than Beyonce or Destiny's Child and any other artists out there at the time. She was unique and different for her time. She was a sweet and down to earth women. What made her unique is that she had her own style and never tried to be like anyone else. I will always love Aliyah r.i.p.

It's sad to say that, Aaliyah never had her shine. The biggest thing to ever happen to her, was her death. No one barely knew who she was until she died. They wasn't really promoting her, like how they promote Beyonce, when Aaliyah's music is off the charts better than Beyonce. They never really awarded Aaliyah that well, and made her look like a underdog, and that she was not. I started liking Aaliyah the day she died, and was thrilled when her video came out, More than a woman. Love Aaliyah.!

we got alicia keys and adele, i could name more but those are my favorite, they have great voices and they wear clothes, beyonce and rihanna aren't the only female singers in the world, i wish your message could really get out

I think Aaliyah is actually prettiest in this video, those close-ups of her during the second half of the video.... literally some of the most perfect bone structure I have ever seen! One of the prettiest recording artists ever.
