Chamber Check Challenge

After watching TMHonfire and Rifleman's "1911 Challenge" for Pete (Armorychannel) and his response, I decided to post this up and expand the "challenge" to all automatic handgun designs.

The idea behind a Chamber Inspection is to partially retract the slide enough to see if the chamber is empty or loaded. This is better than pulling it back fully because it will not eject a cartridge if one is loaded. Pulling the hammer back is generally preferred because this will keep you from accidentally retracting the slide all the way, and also makes it easier to conduct a chamber inspection.

with the springfeild xdm theres a loaded chamber indicator , so this would be a pointless feture... get a xdm there sweet

the FNP has a loaded chamber indicator too, so do Glocks and virtually every modern handgun, fuck even 1911's have them now. enjoy your polymer frame "rail".

You could just rack the slide completely with both hands, and look in the chamber.

@killchain187 True, I just did it that way because that's what the "challenge" was. The only problem with racking it completely is that you'll eject the round if there's one chambered.

Sweet gun and good video. That decocking switch is badass. Gotta love FN and the intuitive features they create for all of their firearms.

@Casper48022 Yeah same here, maybe they'll make one soon. I hear there are some for other guns that you can adapt to them....check the forums.
