He says the Gospel is the "Good News" and there's no bad news in the good news. Christianity inflicts harm and has a violent past. He says Christianity denies the work of Christ having taken sin away.

I agree, christian has been used as a label for far too many cults, and a true, born again believer can no longer call themselves a christian without many assumptions being made about what they truly believe.

I see what you are saying, but personally I'm Honored to be called a christian in the context of what it has stood for for centries "Jesus" I've always beieived that christian simply means Christlike. Of course we are sinners saved by Grace but to be determined in heart and mind to be like Christ is the most noble and excellent calling. Therefore, I am forever a Christian in the true sence of it's meaning.
