If we don t accept a gift like this in todays society then we are living just in the past.Gilels is actually my favourite pianist but I prefer this cheekines Daniil has with this sonata.I know it s far fetched comment but I know what Im talking about is my personal opinion and unto us another genius is born in our world.That makes the whole thing exciting and I hope he keeps playing like this and doesn t burn out.Me no think he will.

Amazing performance. I am honored to be his co-artist at the same company. BTW I had a heart-attack for I thought the title said "Arthur Rubinstein Master Class". I was like OMG ghost.

Now this is how Prokofiev should be played! Fierce, fiendish, sarcastic, virtuosic, and very sweet in moments... Trifonov's playing is the best!
