Highlights: Penguins vs Senators: Game 1 2010 Playoffs

The playoffs are back! :D

...But the Pens lose game 1. It was a hard fought game, and the Pens made several attempts to get it back to a one goal game, but ultimately could not get that tying goal. In the end, it was a one goal game. The Sens got a goal off a strange bounce off the partition, and that made it 3-1. That can be the difference in one game. That's why they play a 7 game series.

There were still some good things about this game. To see Gogo and Adams score goals was great. The PP looked good with Malkin. Crosby had 3 assists.

The Senators did good things too. It seemed like every time the Pens would get momentum and get the crowd back into it, they would take it back right after. They fought off the initial wave and were able to take the lead and never give it back.

The Pens gave up 5 goals tonight. That's not going to get it done. They gave up 5 goals in the entire series in 08 to the Sens.

Got to get Game 2 and go into Ottawa hoping for another split to get home-ice back.

@Texfan57 How about those Sabres? Maybe you were too busy thinking about Crosby, but the Sabres are done. It's so sweet to hear you run your mouth from game 1 onward about a team and a player that isn't even a rival of yours, and you end up losing to a division foe and the Pens advance anyway.
