  • Break it down, Obama, break it down. Very well said, especially when it came to Palin. How can you be for the people while you ridicule any work done on their behalf. McCain was a Bush sidekick and Palin was an ill-prepared hack.

  • Same should be applied to Heterosexuals then. Treating loyal, tax paying homosexual citizens different from their fellow heterosexual citizens is discrimination based on sexual orientation, which is the same ideology supported, protected, defended and practised by Al Qaeda, Taliban and OSAMA BEEN FORGOTTEN.

Why don't Radical Christians in USA, who share ideology with their Radical Islamic brothers including OSAMA BEEN FORGOTTEN, pack their bags, leave United States and move to Afghanistan?

  • @charya72

The debate on homosexuality in America should not be one of special protection versus prohibition: neither option would breed equality, but inequality.

It really comes down to this question: Why are couples of ANY sexual orientation given special protection, and do those same principles apply equally to all couples?

If so, give the homosexuals rights or bring into question the ones given to heterosexual couples.

If not, the debate is moot and should not even be on the agenda.

  • @rocknrollismymusic does this apply to George bush also?

  • @bishopm5 And I suppose that was the idea with what America tried to do in Afganistan and Iraq? Add to your record of giving freedom to people that are ruled?

I'm not going to get into a squabble with you about the definition of rule. You're probably right. That Obama is leading your country, might be a better way of putting it. I personally think he's doing a very good job at it. Either way, your going to have to live with the fact that he is the one who ultimately has the last say.

  • @rocknrollismymusic We are Americans and aren't ruled by anyone......partner, You must be thinking of England.

We actully have a record of giving freedom to people that are "ruled." In case you didn't know, read some history.
