My bosnian brother you are wrong, and stop listening to those excuses. How does a beard protect your face? The beard is part of Islam and it is haram to remove it because the Prophet pbuh said to let it grow and not take it off. There are many evidences for it.

Salam. i've heard from a knowledgeable muslims that growing beard is the command by Allah to prophet Muhammad SAW & also to all prophets. thus all prophets grow beard. it's fardhu not optional 'ibadah'. nowadays individuals who claimed themselves modern people & civilised might say it's uncivilised to grow beard or do what the muslims do.they call themselves modern & civilised but the fact they're contributing to the moral destructions.

If you really want to know more bout Islam, you can even find it out yourself, like reading the quraan itself. There's alot of translated ones, I'm sure you know. This is an honest inquiry:

I'm a Catholic. I've studied and researched, in great depth, to satiate my profound curiousity of whether or not I belong to the true Christian faith. I asked myself: "Why am I not Orthodox? Why am I not Protestant?"

Then I thought: "Well, why am I even a Christian?" lol

Then I asked myself "Well, why am I not a Muslim?" LOL

So, I'm looking for a *well spoken* Muslim to help teach me about Islam. Dare I say it, even revert. I don't know, yet.
