Hero Worship: Ghost Rider

If you've seen the movie, you know the story. Stunt motorcyclist Johnny Blaze is tricked by the arch-demon Mephisto into trading his soul to save his father. But his soul bonds with Zarathos, an earlier ghost rider. Ghost Rider blazed his way through a foot-high stack of comics from 1973 to 1983, riding a fiery motorcycle and cracking his hellfire chain at the villains of the world. Other Ghost Riders came along later, including Daniel Ketch from 1990 to 1998. Johnny Blaze came back in the 1990 series, and again early in the 2000s. Nicolas Cage played him in the 2007 movie.
