The audience was just a bit too pissed off. Whatever were they so pissed off about? Eating meat vs not eating meat? Wasn't that a personal choice? None of the speakers was forcing them to take a stand. There's no need for them to constantly hit River below the belt just because they're unhappy with him. Anyway, no matter what shampoo he's using or brand of detergent his mother had used he's still awesome in that blue shirt and I'm sure he'd smelt great too.
