hi, I'm from Italy, nice and touching video, really. What about bike paths in USA? Are cyclists respected by motorized vehicles? Here bike lane are very scarce

No it wasn't a race or to set some record. It was just a tour I did by myself a few years ago. I biked across the United States and raised money for an Autism Foundation in Phoenix, AZ.

I left 4/29/2007 and finished on 7/3/2007. That's 66 days. I was only on the bike for 48 days though.

where did all those people come from?

Some of them were friends. Some of them were city officials there to welcome me. Other were the press. Then others were other beach goers that wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
