The question here being completely unrelated to this fight, but at the end of this episode, the announcer says that several years passed on earth. So if Gohan said he was eleven when he was fighting Cell, then wouldn't he be eighteen or older by then? And if so, HOW COME HE IS STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL?! Did he drop a couple of grades or something due to all of his training, or is he just more brawn than brain?

Oh he's endured blasts of energy strong enough to wipe out planets. But spinning in a tornado... that's what scares Goku the most

@FALUKYOURMOM First, he was only SS1. Also, I don't have any real reason, but he just seemed to fight Cell much better than he fought Pikkon. The fight with Pikkon wasn't nearly as intense and it seems they dumbed down Goku's ability just so they could show off some cool moves and introduce a new character for filler. The only real evidence I have is that a SS transformation gives a 50x increase in power, more than what wearing weighted clothing would give. It's just my opinion and nothing more.
