And through a complex chain of events, if this never existed, we'd have never gotten Power Rangers.

I like how Japan was 24 years earlier in making a live-action Spider Man than America was.

Yeah... it cringes me, actually. Here the editor is female as well and less looking like JJJ.

All the more reason to be disappointed! Though in all seriousness, I was just joking. I'm sure Japanese Spider-Man fans loved the first movie, and knew that this show wasn't anything like the comics.

But now that you mention it: how awesome would it be if in the Spider-Man comics, J. Jonah Jameson was secretly a supervillianess? I mean, he's been semi-brainwashed before, but to actually have him be a evil hot woman in disguise would probably be way better than what's in the comics now.

Reply from Japan... Okay, It's kinda long, but I'll resume it: They have giant octopuses in their shores, a volcano in their capital and several tsunamis and earthquakes happening every now and then. They, like, totally need their giant robots. Also, believe it or not, it was Spiderman one of the helpers on bringing the giant robots back to mainstream in the east. It's technically Stan Lee's fault.

There's no Christianity on Japan (Christians are less than 2% now and they are more than before), so they are either Buddhists or Shinto. Ask the guys at Gainax, who chose the naming and style for Neon Genesis Evangelion based on the rule of cool.

Yup. Not only that, but Leopardon (the large robot he has) is technically the father of the Megazords: Super Sentai, the origin for PR, never had a giant robot on his first two series; but when they, Marvel and Toei both, gave him a robot and he became the rock, they decided to give giant robots to their next joint work, Battle Fever J (the 3rd Super Sentai) and kept them on. That's right, Marvel brought the megazords to life. Bow before Stan Lee, yoh.
