For one of my favorite actors, in some of my favorite films. The music is from http://www.4shared.com/file/39065245/e5f12032/gettysburgaudio.html.

  • when did he die and what from ?

  • @12342321 1993 - brain cancer. Gettysburg was his last film and came out a couple months after he died.

  • I hate to nitpick but,,,,,what happend to "RAISE THE TITANIC"? He was the lead after all...you have to admit he did not have that many staring roles....anyway...nice tribute

  • @nr1osfan Not there because I don't have it. Plus, RaisetheTitanic1980 has a bunch of good tributes to that film on youtube. Check them out.

  • R. Jordan died before he could see "Gettysburg" :'(

  • @Jaxar1 The director took the first cut to him so he could see that, so he actually saw more of it than the rest of us did, except without music and it was just a rough cut. Ron Maxwell said "he loved all of it."

  • Thanks for this

I loved him in Eddie Coyle and The Yakuza

  • I first became aware of Richard Jordan when his mini-series "Captains and the Kings" was broadcast, back in the late 70's -- he carried the entire series, was the lone protagonist -- then saw him again in Les Mis when he played Jean Valjean - I always like him, appreciated his work, and looke forward to more from him -- I didn't realize Gettysburg was to be his swan song, but he made it count - God love ya, Richard -

  • my names richard jordan weird huh

  • i love how you used the gettysburg theme for this since it was his last film, he was a great actor and he did it so well done everytime i see a richard jordan movie i always applaude for so long cause he was literally one of the best actors that ever lived.

  • He was great in the Night Stalker movie. God bless you, Richard Jordan and to quote one of the characters from Gettysburg, the movie, "you did good, you did REAL good."RIP.
