Ah, no wonder. Back in 1972, cars were still using good old lead - and catalytic converters were a thing of the future. If you don't mind me asking, how much did that 588 Roush set you back? Including the install. Do you have it hooked up to a C6? Any big problems with the swap? With mine, I can only run in like the 15's =(.

Yes, what was your 1/4 mile time and speed? Also, what does it say on your gauges below the gas gauge right above the idiot lights? I have 1 '72 Torino, and my instrumentation is exactly the same except for that lettering.

@MartyInLa Can't recall that run, probably around 12 at 114mph, but in general the Torino runs 11.65 @ 116 pretty consistently this year at hour home track.
The lettering days "UNLEADED GASOLINE ONLY" , starting in 1975 the were putting in catalytic convertors.
