I don't think dumb, just over emotional. He trash talked before the game and then produced -5 rushing yards or something like that. He obviously was pissed, and then some guy comes up and specifically calls him out as he's walking off the field. Definitely a bad move (knowing the outcome now), but it was kind of satisfying to me to see a guy talk trash and then get knocked out right as he starts smiling.

I think the year long suspension is pretty bad, but it's not like he just punched one guy. He then took it over the top and fought with fans, his own teammates, and security that was trying to stop him from fighting with the fans. I think that's where the year suspension is coming from. If he just knocks one trash-talking guy out, he probably still gets suspended, but probably only for a couple of games.
