update - 5/16/08, I just made this for a big group of people and I think it's a good idea to cut down on the brown sugar, Maybe half a part to the parts of coconut and the breading mix. It was still good but could be a little less sweet. That being said, there were NO leftovers.

This is a great and easy dish. It will work with really any kind of fish but I use tilapia. Try it. Even picky eaters will finish their plate

  • Thanks, Rob. Found it! I've never seen Tilapia fish in France. Can you suggest another white fish pls? What are u adding at 2:23? It sounds like "A handful of shar lunge"! Love the way you cook your nuts and beans! I'll try that!

  • @MissJagUR lol "a handful of Shore Lunch" That's the breading mix I was using, but any breading mix will do. This will work well on Bass, or Halibut, or Cod. Basically anything but salmon.

  • what is the name of the grocery store at the begining, and where is it located?

  • kowalski's in eden prairie, mn

  • what do you set the oven too????

  • Do you always tend to use Salted Butter ??

  • If you prefer less of a 'fishy' taste than Talapia, Swai is a Vietnamese Catfish that we really enjoy and it's even less expensive in our area (Las Vegas).

  • Great dish , but bake it. Much easier and low fat. 350 oven about 20 minutes.

  • @myvirginkitchen Take a picture and send it to me. Cook well.

  • Gonna have to try this!

  • Re. my comment below, they were absolutely delicious! Thank you! I used frozen beans and was amazed at how fresh they tasted after just frying them in butter. I thought the beans, being frozen, gave off a tiny bit of water so I poured this away and then added more butter, then the cashew nuts and soy sauce. I haven't eaten green beans for years as they can be a bit tasteless when boiled so many thanks for introducing me to this new method of cooking them. (I had fried salmon with them)

  • Bought the ingredients and trying those beans and nuts tonight!

  • Everybody love Soy Sauce ;D! Asian pride!
