What it's like...

If you ever wondered what it's like driving a SWIFT truck, this clip will give you some of the answers!!

On a side note. Notice the SUV who cut in front of me at 2:12...He almost got squashed...The Big Truck that passed right before those two was still in the left lane, and this guy decided to be in a big hurry and pass the SUV in front of him AND the Big Truck all before the Big Truck had gotten a chance to get back over. You all know what happens next...He was half way through the pass (on the right) then the Big Truck started coming over. Folks, DON'T PASS ON THE RIGHT!!! Just give the Big Truck a few more seconds and he(or she) will move out of your way. If you try to rush by on the right, you're going to be just quick enough to get into the Blind Spot, and the Big Truck won't even know you are there!!

what kind of camera gear are u using for these vids? I'm sure your laptop wasn't mounted to the outside mirror!

and do u guys know of many foreigners driving over there? I'm Australian and am thinking it's time to visit my Auntie in Nevada again.. thought I might try to get some truckin work..? easy hard?

Not real interesting... That's what I was going for. This was a long straight stretch of road, and our trucks are governed at 62MPH, so I just wanted to show getting passed by everyone.

I'm using a "Sony DSC w55" in this one(Digital Still Camera). There is a vertical grab bar on the far left of the cab(for climbing in/out) and I have a tripod (6 inches long)mounted to it, with the camera zoomed in to the fender mounted spot mirror. My newer clips are shot with a "Sony DSC w150"
