Spaceheater's Blast Furnace is a Jazz/Timba/Break-with-a-little-bit-of-Hip-Hop band based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Containing various Jazz Mafia members, the band is a line up of all-star local talent. Bandleader Evan Francis packs an alto sax, flute, and talent for both. Flanking him are Kasey Knudsen on the tenor saxophone and Marcus Stephens, also on tenor sax as well as clarinet.

Tommy Folen sets the pace on bass. Patrick PdubL Korte creates his own brand of rhythmic melodies at the drums and sampler while Matt Lucas trades with him on congas and various other percussive instruments.. Guest MC Seneca joins them on a few tracks as well.

No matter where they play, Spaceheater's Blast Furnace inspires people to dance and stay dancing.
