  • I am using e wrap on one side, and the sides are curling along w/ the bottom. I don't see curling in anyones work. What do I do to avoid it? I want to knit a scarf w/ the e wrap and thought by using the long loom the scarf would not curl. no luck! please help.

  • @holyspirit5152 Because the e-wrap makes a twisted stockinette, it will always curl. I would try switching to the flat knitting style, or you can always add a couple rows of garter at the bottoms. I have a pattern on my Ravelry that uses this curling to make the scarf almost tube-like, for example, if you choose to embrace the curl.

  • Hi! Is there any way you can put a video up of finishing off a scarf? I know how to cast on and start, but how do I finish? I'm stumped! Thanks!

  • @analilliax1 There are many good choices out there, you can see one in my videos that's called the "single side bindoff" but there are other good videos available at the purling sprite website, loomknittinghelp, the KK&LK yahoo group, and such. I'm afraid we can't link to anything in Youtube comments, but I would definitely start with googling the Purling Sprite and going from there.

  • Hi,

Thanks for the video. :-) I got long looms and one end on each loom opens up. Do you know why they open up? It does not say anything on the instructions. Thanks for your help. :-)

    Have a great day!
