Since so many US cities, states, and even the Federal Gov't. are for all practical purposes bankrupt, having it in the US would be too costly. We had the games in Atlanta and here in Savannah and it cost us "an arm and a leg" and we didn't really get much benefit from it. Besides, the crime rate in Chicago (as well as other US cities) is incredibly high - higher than most entire European countries. America has a bad name because of its gangs & thug-life!
