  • @GenesisAthleticPerf Does the floor press put more stress on the triceps or chest? and when should it be done? beginning of workout or towards the end?

  • @singtheho3 Thanks for watching. The floor press puts more stress on the triceps, as it stops the bar before the chest can fully activate.

We use it all over the place. It can be used as a heavy strength movement, or as an assistance exercise. We use fat bar, barbell, sandbags, kettlebells, dumbbells, multi-grip bar, etc. There are a ton of variations with it, so it works really well in a ton of different situations.

    Hope that helps.

  • awesome video. more Cush please!

  • cush is a beast...along with lewis and willis, he is my fav backer in the league right now..

  • cushing picked this music didnt he?

  • @molike Appreciate you viewing the video. We use chains so the weight gets heavier during the stronger portions of the lift. That way the chance of them stalling during the weaker portion of the lift is less likely, but we don't have to sacrifice any of the weight that is needed to help make the stronger part of the lift even stronger.

  • what's the reasoning behind using chains instead of another plate? It gets (a little) heavier as you push it higher?
