I see by the comments more than half of them show complete ignorance of the truth behind the death of Brian, or even how talented he was. All most are doing is regurgitating material thats half truths and BS.Theres an interview written with a pb mag at the time with a body guard that was part of the scene around that era with the band that explains alot ,but most of you wouldn't want to know I'd bet. Either way RIP Brian you were great, you got ripped off big time, but you let it happen .

ROCK SALTS !! He was not murdered. The night of the party, he had a few close friends there. A couple of workmen where there, big deal, but Brian had one female friend there who was a nurse, among others. He drank wine, took some sort of sleeping pill or downer, jumped into a HEATED POOL, and passed out. His guests had gone inside the house but saw him floating shortly after leaving him. Nobody did shit. The guy is a legend, though, and created the Stones. He. Not Mick.

Frank Toroughgood confessed on his death bed of BJs murder. And it was exactly the same scenario as described here. His place was full of workmen who sat around his pool all day drinking beer and ripping off his stuff, they were also insensed by his women. They'd previously worked for Keith. Brian didn't have a lot of his own friends there and the workmen Hated him. No big thing, British 'class' hangup. They were taking the piss when he was swimming and finally started to fuck with him.

All the negative commentors: fuck yourselves. Now, that said, Brian was THE driving force behind the Stones, originally at least; his brilliant touches here-and-there enhanced their work tremendously. Yes, he could be mean, even brutal. But I choose to remember the quiet, soft-spoken, thoughtful, and compassionate artist, which he also was. Want proof? Just look at some of the interview vids. Yes, Frank murdered him, no doubt about it
