Yes it seems con's have gone big but left out the key reason for being .. The Fan and time wit the GoH's that come.. now its all timed and planed ..Fans miss times like these.. I was happy to have caught this part of Anime history

@GreeneConsulting Cons back then used to be so fan friendly. Nowadays people have no chance of having something intimate like you people did with Mr. Nagai.

I still have Go Nagai's business card printed on wood on both side in English and Japanese..he was very cool guest and very friendly to all the fans and con staff.

WOW this is blast from the past.. I shot this video so long ago it seems like. this was great moment in anime Fandom and was happy to get it on tape(there was a lot of people in that room ) I am glad every one like the footage.. I still have the raw footage safe and sound .. I need to dump the tapes to a hard drive soon so not to lose all this history of early fandom.

Go Nagai was once told by a wiseman that he was a reincarnation of an Austrian priest who had hung himself, feeling guilty that the Catholic Church had burnt so many innocent "witches".
This is one reason maybe why his women appear as strong dominatrices, female demonic avengers....

I'm still happy to have Go Nagai's "Cutey Honey" drawing he made for me. The only thing I'm sad is that I saw Monkey Punch for straight two years and didn't bother to get any drawings or sketches. My big regret...I wish I did!
