Well I think you have been alluding to cosmology in your answers? You brought it up, and no, science cannot explain our existence I never claimed it could?

Also, I haven't claimed to be the expert or know it all, you've simply misread my posts. If your an expert in the subject, and I'm wrong correct me. I know only what I've read/heard re: psychic phenomenon, which is that the general consensus is that there is as yet no positive evidence for it's existence.

ad infinitum.... you don't actually know what the scientific community is saying but you are making out you do. You wouldn't choose to explore this phenomenon because someone you don't know and can't reference has told you it doesn't exist... in fact no one has actually come out and said it doesn't exist... why are we into the realms of cosmology? Scientist can't explain your existance they can only show you what they have seen... thank god Tesla wasn't so restricted...

Absolutely, I'm speaking as a layman. I'm essentially regurgitating what people who do work in this field are saying. I can't think of any valid reason why they would mislead the public or want to discredit psychic abilities. If the evidence for psychic ability is not there, it just isn't there.

As you say, we have a lot to learn about the universe at it's most fundamental level. But then we're into the realms of cosmology.

I'm not getting at you personally. My point is you (and others) are saying evidence suggests but I doubt you have looked at many studies or research organisations doing studies (if any) ... secondly most people know the basic structure of an Atom and really in laymans terms that boils down to 'fresh air and electromagnetic energy'. If people genuinely want evidence they will get it but if your motives are to discredit or play with psychic abilities it doesn't happen...

A lot of science at that level that is beyond what I and most people can understand, but I do try to understand, and do question. However, I know of no link between parapsychology, physics and cosmology?

But on this subject of parapsychology, there are simply no reputable studies that I know of, which show that humans have psychic abilities. In fact the evidence seems to be strongly pointing in the other way at the moment.

well what I am saying is people reiterate comments like that but don't actually know and don't have references to back it up its anecdotal 'what scientists believe'. The other thing tht bugs me is people say I believe in science but don't really consider what are universe is made up on the atomic level because then you would surely question how 'solid' the existence we perceive is.

I'm not quoting any. I was repeating what the consensus in scientific opinion is on the subject. Which is that is psychic abilities have not been demonstrated to exist. This despite more than a century of research.
