Anyone notice that the donkeys' were fat? I guess 20 years in the White House would do that to the Democrats that were living fat.
I really enjoyed your post, even though I was 3 years old in 1952. This add is a classic of what TV campaigning, can and should be like. I'm reading Eisenhower's biography and when compared against recent presidents, comes off well. To modify Archie Bunker's song, "We need a man like Eisenhower for persident", of course Archie preferred Herbert Hoover.
