Parathyroid glands can be hard to find, but an experienced surgeon can take less than 18 minutes to complete an MIRP "mini" surgery even if there is a negative sestamibi scan. Hyperparathyroidism patients should understand this information. Don't have an "exploration" operation!

  • How do you know if I have a bad parathyroid, I don't have a thyroid anymore - had thyroid cancer w/ nodules.
