merle or george, the two best and hank sr. of course. i give merle the slight edge, because he wrote most of his songs, and he lived them as well

@coachdoc49 Both are best for different reasons. George's got the best voice, but Merle can write (and has written so many) great country songs and Merle's still got Norman Hamlett with him on steel guitar. I like the Bakersfield sound better myself, but when I watch this it reminds me that they are EQUALS.

Who's the best. Jones or Haggard? After listening to this one, gotta say George. At least until I listen to Merle again. But George's voice is pure, Haggards has a little ragged edge. But man does George sing the daylights outta this one.
