I have not seen anyone smash their gear in a very long time. Either i'm not listening to the right music, or my generation sucks. I've been to a lot of shows.

You do guys realize that Nirvana is not the only band who smashed guitars? Nobody said to Kurt that he copied off hendrix or someone else cause everybody did that and played with feedback. I first heard this band on lollapalooza today and I think they are good, most of the bands there are shit...

I think it was crap when Pete Townshend did it back in the day. Hendrix - weeel, okay at least he did iut with real style.
So yeah Ritzy - I think its a stupid cliche too. You are not bored frustrated and angry I dont think. Rock and Roll should be theatre sure, but how about some new tricks?

You guys complaining about smashing a guitar? You're boring. She knows how much she spent on the thing, okay? So did The Who, so did Nirvana, so did everyone else that's done it. It's a classic symbol of punk rock attitude. About not giving a shit. About raw energy and entertainment. If you don't get it, then don't worry about it.
