I've heard their solos sound way different live and they can't even remember what they played in the studio since their solos are often improvised.

@clitoricam Yes i agree kirk hammets solo are clearer and richer, but state that kerry's solos are unique, they actually tried soloing differently, and it doesnt really match with the rest of the song. Its like his thing, cause sometimes they do sound good, but yea...their pretty messy.
