Before San Jose became the technology capital of the world, the city was known for its Flea Market, which was slated to close in 2010 to be replaced by a transit-oriented urban village. The film explores the conflicts between an existing community's economic livelihood and an environmentally responsible land use plan and reveals the complexity of urban issues and social justice in a changing city.

Well-made documentary. So...its now 2012. Where does the flea market stand? Will they still be relocating, or closing permanently? Are decisions still up in the air?

The personnel is full of crap and they don't know what the hell they're doing. SJFM is closing soon, and they're not makin ANY money, so they're raising the food prices up to RIDICULOUS amounts. Now they're also trying to take extra money from the sellers in a last ditch effort. The Flea Market is an alright place, just don't buy any damn thing from the company itself.
