he *could*, but at least in the video shown here, he isn't.
techniques shown here are manifestations of superior understanding and application of timing, leverage, momentum, human anatomy and psychology. the reason it looks so pretty and fake here is because the 'ukes' are very responsive and sensitive; traits which will serve them very well when they are playing the reverse role. if a untrained person were to receive the technique, it'd be much uglier and painful, but effective nonetheless.
