@ZiItoid I wasn't trashing them you hussy. I just said it wasn't needed, they can be as overprotected as they want. And I never said you technically couldn't do as much with a sumo lift, I just said it is normally easier to do it the normal way because you have more muscles being involved. It all depends on what you want to work.

@jaredanson123 I ain't trolling brah, the reason why the sumo deadlift is so fucked up is because, well, those are little girls lol, they are tinier, and therefor there stance will be narrower, nevertheless the form was pretty bad, and if you go check world record deadlifts, alot of those deadlifts are performed in sumo stance, so they are just as effective, it really depends on the body type. Yes you're the idiot, trashing them for wearing "protection gear" when performing "light lifts"

@ZiItoid I'm the idiot? I know what a sumo deadlift is, and whether they were attempting to do a sumo or a normal deadlift they were both done incorrectly. And doing a sumo deadlift would defeat the purpose of going for the maximum amount of weight because doing a sumo you normally can't do as much as a normal because you are mainly using your legs and not legs back butt and other muscles when u do a normal deadlift. Get fucked you stupid little troll.

@jaredanson123 They don't put on that gear for protection you idiot, they use it to improve the lifts, the knee wraps for example can add like 10kg to your squat due to extra tightness

@hxcnoah I guess if they want to be that protective then fine. I could maybe understand using a belt, but there is no need for them to wrap their knees. And yeah I noticed they did their deadlifts wrong.

girls have a lot less core strength, and these are young girls
and in competitions, you are always going for your 1RM, and that can be dangerous on you, so extra protection helps lift more and protect against injury
not a fan of how far they overextend their deadlifts though, its really dumb and is a bad demonstration for girls watching this
