4:02 Ali: "stfu Don King"

I'm not being arrogant when I say ali would win. The reason is twofold, ali beat men with way better stamina than tyson, who were also stronger than tyson. Ali beat the biggest and fastest fighters of his generation when he was PAST his prime. Tyson lost to Douglas when he was in his prime. The other reason is psychology. Anyone Tyson could not intimidate beat him or came close to it. Ali was a master of psychological warfare. He would out psyche tyson easily.

As for punching power unless you do an experiment on each fighter its just mere speculation. Tyson and Foreman threw bombs as soon as that bell wrang. The difference is Foreman swung his arm like a baseball bat and pounded away. Tyson ducked and dived and penetrated the defenses throwing punches at each angle. He was an improved version of Joe Frazier I believe. Ali vs Tyson in their prime would be an epic fight. Who knows who would win i'm not arrogant enough to say

You seriously underestimate the speed of ali. He could dodge punches by the fastest opponents. He was extremely scientific, as shown when he fought guys who moved like middle weights. Ali had an amazing ability to adapt to each fighter differently. Tyson didn't, which is why he lost to people who had unorthodox approaches or who weren't afraid of his so called invulnerability. That is why ali is considered the greatest. Liston punched harder than tyson too btw

Tyson was faster thats the difference. More punches with serious power. Maybe Foreman may have a more powerful punch but for Ali to do what he did those punches must have been more avoidable. Foreman whales on his opponent trying to bash through his defences. Tyson penetrates though the defence and connects with his speed. An older Tyson faught like Foreman his speed went which is why he wasnt as successful as when he was younger I believe.

I love how you guys underestimate the bunching power of george foreman, and make it seem like mike tyson punched 10 times harder than him. In whose world? Foreman was twice tysons size and IMO punched harder than tyson. Tyson himself admitted it.

s13solong: I respect your arguements and they have good weight behind it . Take another lood at Ali s record. He fought the best of the best. Tyson has had no footwork like Ali.. NO one ever could move like Ali. However, Bruce Lee had it all too! Ali could slip any punch and make you miss and miss. He was an amazing creature and shoot off his mouth and BACKUP any thing he said in the ring UNTIL he got older. True Tyson and Foreman were hard hitters, but NO one could move like Ali ! 5Stars!

Tyson was hard and fast thats the difference between him and Foreman. Foreman was a bit of a lump so Ali could dodge those big punches. I dont think it would have been as easy with Tyson so the same tactic wouldnt work. Muhammad Ali's gameplan relies alot on him dodging punches to stay alive. Tyson only needs one big shot. Who would win? who knows.
Muhammad Ali is still the greatest.
