  • Where exactly is the "apps" folder is supposed to be?

In the wii folder or the root of the sd card?

  • @Gamebito it needs to be on the root of the SD card

  • Also, something very important you failed to mention: Do you have to install the MPlayer off of the SD every time you need to watch a DVD? I realized that the Wii doesn't store the MPlayer in it's console. Or am I missing something here?

  • I followed your instructions step by step, but it didn't work on my Wii. I was able to install the MPlayer, I see the menue and everything. However, when I attempt to play the DVD, the program simply freezes and doesn't respond, which forces to do hard shutdown of the whole system. Do you know what the issue might be?

    Regards

  • @OscarBaldwin

HBC is for wiis that have internet....do you have internet connected to your wii?

Otherwise, you can go to wiibrew and directly download the apps you need.

  • thanks it worked!

  • @wiiologii is it a memory stick or a memory card

  • not that it matters but my hombrew channel is upside down. It works like a normal hombrew channel and when I load an app it works normally but the hombrew channel itself is upside down... how can i fix this?

  • @wiiologii Thank you SIR, it really works...

  • does this work on the new black wii's?
